NT Travel Guarantee

If the bus or train is delayed more than 20 minutes, you can apply for Travel Guarantee.

If you travel by train between Hjørring - Hirtshals or Skagen - Frederikshavn - Aalborg - Skørping or by an NT bus, you can use NT Travel Guarantee (NT Rejsegaranti), if the bus or train is more than 20 minutes delayed, or if you miss another NT bus or NJ train and therefore are more than 20 minutes delayed.

The NT Travel Guarantee means, that you can take a taxi or get a friend to drive you, and have your expenses for either the taxi or fuel refunded by NT. We refund expenses for cartrips up to 50 km. and taxi up to 350 kr. If you are travelling by train, you can also get a refund for your ticket (if you have a Danish CPR-number) or a ticket for a new journey. 

 You simply have to fill in and send the refund form along with the original taxi receipt no later than 14 days after the delay. Unfortunately it is only available in Danish at the moment. 

The refund for your ticket is based on the following rates:

25% of the ticket price if the delay is 20 minutes or more
50% of the ticket price if the delay is 60 minutes or more
75% of the ticket price if the delay is 90 minutes or more
100% of the ticket price if the delay is 120 minutes or more

Commuter Travel Time Guarantee. If you are a communter, you can sign up for DSB Commuter Travel Time Guarantee (DSB Pendler Rejsetidsgaranti) in order to get compensation for delays. Learn more at dsb.dk/rejsetidsgaranti.
